Requirements for Access
Investigators requesting access to NCTN Banks biospecimens should refer to the Access Process & Specimen Access Flowchart and NCTN-CCSC Proposal Submission Form [DOC | 200 KB] . A sample Material Use Agreement (MUA) [PDF | 99 KB] is also available and can be used for consideration by an investigator's institution when a proposal is being developed by an investigator to anticipate any areas of concern.
Concepts may be submitted by qualified investigators. All concepts are reviewed for feasibility (biospecimen availability and statistical feasibility), scientific merit, and alignment with NCTN Banks mission. The final review of a full proposal for use of adult legacy specimens is done by the NCTN Core Correlative Science Committee (CCSC); for pediatric specimens, by the Children’s Oncology Group (COG).
